Reverend Taylor’s heart for ministry is rooted in Christ’s call through The Great Commission in which he has devoted his life to sharing the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ with all whom he comes in contact.  He has a unique manner of sharing biblical truth in a simple, down-to-earth, and relatable style.  Reverend Taylor began his ministry in The United Methodist Church, and through his gifts and graces, he has served not only in the local church, but also at the conference, jurisdictional, and general church levels. After serving as Senior Pastor in the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church, he found his calling leading him to new ministry in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN. Reverend Taylor is currently an active part of the ministry at Mount Paran Church in Atlanta, GA and is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN.  He also serves as the Lead Pastor of a new virtual church plant, Community Pointe Church.

Reverend Taylor is a member of American Psychological Association. He is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and The Order of St. Luke. He is a member of the Pathway East Georgia and Oconee River Basin Emmaus Communities. He is a featured speaker for businesses, fraternal organizations, and churches where he shares the unique Wesleyan perspective on Grace, Holiness and following Christ.

Reverend Taylor currently resides in Gainesville, GA with his wife, Tiffany Taylor. The Taylors have dedicated their lives to reaching the least, the lost, and the hurting where they serve Christ through their joint ministry to assist those in need in their community and abroad. They have three sons, Timothy M. Taylor, Jr., Jonathan Lee Taylor, Deacon Cooper Taylor, and a daughter, Savannah Grace Taylor in August 2019. The Taylors welcomed their first grandchild in December 2017, Elliana Lee Taylor. Reverend Taylor is an avid historian and theologian with special interests in Church History.  In addition, his personal hobbies and interests include golf, piano, guitar, and singing.
